What is a Sweetprint?
A Sweetprint starts as a smooth piece of soft clay into which I gently press a child's hand and/or foot. Each one is carefully finished by hand, kiln fired, elegantly hand painted, and then presented to you as a beautiful, lasting record of your child's little hands and feet. The clay is soft enough to capture details like the tiny lines and "rolls" that are unique to each child.

How long does it take?
Your impression appointment will take about 15 minutes. The actual impression only takes a few moments - most parents take the most time choosing their style, colors, and ribbon. Your Sweetprint will be ready for you to enjoy in about 4-6 weeks. I understand it can be difficult to wait this long for your keepsake, but after seeing the artistic detailing I personally put into each piece, I hope you will agree it was worth the wait.

What if my child doesn't cooperate?
Years of experience in making more than 4000 keepsakes enables me to take beautiful impressions almost every time, even with hesitant or very young children. Most parents are amazed at how well their children do!

Are they a kit I can do at home?
No. I have heard many stories from parents who have tried stamping hand prints or using kits at home, usually with little success and lots of frustration. Parents are so relieved to let me take over and use my experience to take a perfect impression (nearly) every time!

How much does it cost?
Prices range from $30 for an ornament to $75 for a sibling triple. The most popular item, the Classic, is $50. Some special request items may be more. Please note that Sweetprints takes cash and checks only, no credit cards.

How do I get one?
Come to one of my events in the Sacramento/El Dorado County area. Check the Calendar of Events for an upcoming event that works for you and be sure to make a reservation through Sweetprints or the store as designated. Another fun option is to arrange a home show for your friends, neighbors, or playgroup. I will come to you for a minimum order of 10 Sweetprints, and the host gets one for free! I also take appointments at my home studio in El Dorado Hills.  Contact me for availability.

Do you do group events or fundraisers?
Yes- I love groups! I will offer a 10% group discount for large groups (25 orders or more) or donate 20% back as a fundraiser for your preschool, church or non-profit group. Contact me for details and to check availability.
